Artist's Description
Eastern Phoebe
Listening to this little bird sing you can hear his name "fee bee" in the song. They are very active while catching insects and will often return to the same perch after the hunt.
The Eastern Phoebe was the first bird banded by John James Audubon in 1804. He attached silvered thread to on leg so he could track it's return.

About Meg Rousher
Photographer & Birding/Wildlife Tour Guide ~ Exploring the beauty found in Southwest Florida has been a joy of mine for many years. Bird photography is my passion but I don't miss the chance to catch a sunrise, flower, animal or sea creatures that are found here. In these galleries you will find images from the beautiful wide open beaches to the solitude of the inland marshes and swamps. I hope you will find my images a perfect addition to your fine art collection. All wildlife is photographed using a telephoto lens at its maximum reach then cropped to give the close-up appearance. Please respect wildlife and keep a safe distance. My Websites: Meg Rousher.com Pixel.com Fine Art America.com Commercial Liicensing Social...
